A.K. is a fine art photographer who uses her camera to explore the existentialism of the human condition. Her
works speak about the intangibility of emotion and frailty of life. Each is as personal as it is universal, stemming from her own experiences. She photographs her fears, anxieties, pain, observations of others, and the more ephemeral aspects of the core Self.
She holds a Masters of Fine Art in Photography from the Academy of Art University as well as a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art from Morehead State University. She works in a variety of photographic media, specifically digital manipulation and experimental printing.
